Adventure #354: The Truth Hurts
I’ll say this about that girl though, atleast she told me the fuckin’ truth.
But seriously, you go into a store, and you see something wrapped, mostly because it’s book and an extra, that doesn’t have it’s own ISBN number, so we can’t sell it, if we find it lying around, you probably shouldn’t be opening it!!
These kids are lazy, mom’s shopping, and there’s the next book I need to read in the series.. well, I guess I can open it, because I’m special! And for a moment, I let her continue, then I just took it away, because, why the hell should I let her get away with it?!
I’ve been a bit more forceful with these slackers lately, if they’re just sitting there, I tell them to move it, and that they should be reading this shit for free, and you know what, I’ve learned, that they actually leave! Good god, why didn’t I think of this before?!

This is one of my pet peeves too. I hate having to step over them to get to what I am interested in actually buying.

I’m making it a point, that if I see one of these slackers in a bookstore, to “accidentally” kick them.

That last panel looks like something from “Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006″. Awesome.

Hated those customers. Mainly in the manga section, but I had enough authority to tell them they either paid it or to leave right now

I have to say though, I hate when mainstream comic companies wrap their books, especially if I don’t know the artist or writer. They should at least put a printed sample page on the back.

Well the store is allowed to have one open so that people can browse through them, my store did this since its a way for some companies to “force” people into buying things when they arent rated for adults. Even though we had one of each open IN FRONT of the rest, people would still open the rest or if someone else was reading it they would open them. THAT pissed me off

That last panel plus the caption “I hate work” would be an awesome T-shirt.
