Awww! You can’t blame ‘em, I kinda surmised the second I took off they would have just passed out were they stood. Apparently I kind of forgot that Disney World isn’t a vacation, just more pressure to have fun.
But anyway it was super-nice of Jamie and Meg to take me out to dinner. I think they sorta expected me to find some real Savannah cuisine, which doesn’t really exist, it’s sorta just a mish-mash of random tourist traps. So I took them to where my friend Martyn used to work, Churchill’s. Which was pretty damed good!
Also, thank you to Peggy, Lily and Charlie, Jamie and Meg’s sweet little girls for being super-picky eaters, leaving me with 3 doggy-bag dinners work of the chicken strips. Someday you girls will develop true taste buds, don’t you worry! But for now, you’ve helped your Uncle Brett conserve money, be proud!
Also I kinda forgot how the joke went, so make your own punchline, it’s fun!

Man, what is it with you and Pranas thinking the only places to eat in Savannah are chains and tourist places? There’s a bunch of very good and unique places both downtown and on the outlying areas. The reason nobody thinks Savannah has any culture is because nobody ever tries to look for it.
Because Brett and I don’t get out much…?
The place I miss most is Sushi-Time Towa. They had the best deep-fried sushi I’ve ever had. I almost cry whenever I think about it.
One of the four times I went to Savannah I had a lovely time at Churchills. I felt like I was almost in a real britis Pub and I had some delicious beers.
Making it a point to stop there when I go to GA.
I am just getting to see this, haha. But you spelled Jamey’s name wrong, a bunch of times.
