Sometimes the smallest of things can be the funniest. My co-worker Malia was stuck with the shittiest job in the store: trying to sell gift cards to people from this shitty little table. Nobody every stops to listen, and they pretty much just ask you where a book is. If people want a gift card, they’ll go to the registers. So it can make you feel pretty useless, but I was feeling pretty giddy, so it set me off :p
Also, thanks world, for all the wonderful feelings I got after seeing UP, it all got sucked out of me after putting up with a constant stream of assholes at work.
Which means, I’ll have to go see it again!
Seriously, I’d see this movie as soon as you possibly can, while I don’t feel it was better than WALL-E, my all time favorite film, it certainly stands up there in my favorite film pantheon.
There’s something about the movie that just… brings you back to a simpler time, and leaves you with this beautiful feeling afterwards. I really can’t describe it, it’s just such a wonderful feeling.
On my little phone chat with Dave Wheeler, it was odd, he’s just graduating, and it’s sort of just dawned on him that he might not see alot of people in Savannah again for a long time, so in that respect I felt I comforted him somehow, but it just made me look back on my own life since I’d moved out on my own in Savannah, and how lucky I’ve been, and how many wonderful people I’ve been truly blessed to meet.
I know you’ve still got two weeks left in Savannah, Wheeler, but I’m going to lose a good friend, and I hope life takes you where you want to go, and all that other shmaltzy crap. You’re the man, you have the connections, now go and use ‘em!
Well, I didnt exactly plan on that all happening today. I just wanted a free load of laundry before I have to start paying for it again! BUt in the end it all worked out, since my roomate Greg, had sooo much good stuff he wanted to throw out! Which is good for me and my merry band of new roomates need alot of shit for our kitchen! He even waived the money I owed him for some of the furniture I owed him for helping him out, what a guy, eh?
Also, on a related note, I witnessed a matress fly! Brannon & Marion bought Greg’s couch, and they borrowed my car for the first run, and I drove back the second time, and I’ll admit, taking the freeway was a bad idea, alot I did drive at like, 20mph, the winds were pretty damn strong and… SNAP! Off it went! Luckily there we no damage, so everything worked out in the end!
What a day!
Sometimes stupidity spreads, and my roomates were catching it all over the place. I wonder if Eva misheard it as well, this could be a possibility.
Also, my ceiling is still leaking, isn’t that fun?
….other than that, life’s kinda boring.
Well, okay, so I sort of knew about them getting a rabbit, but I didn’t know they’d get one nearly the very next day after asking me if I’m cool with it! Anyway, Eva’s cute, and I’m happy, cause I enjoy cute things!
You’d be lying if that middle panel doesn’t make your widdle heart melt.
This Adventure Brought to You By: Rifftrax! Spice up a shitty movie with commentary tracks from the comedic talents from MST3K!
Anyhow, what a weird situation to be put in, what are you supposed to do when everyone but you runs out on a movie. Which was terrible but the rifftrax definetly made it super funny to watch. Marion has the habit of being a little ADD at times (we all do), but it felt pretty crappy to have things end suddenly.
I’d like to be a little more understanding, but she simply wouldnt tell me what bugged her and why she had to cut the movie short, so I really don’t know what happend. If it was something life threatening or equally important, then I’d apologize for being miffed, but for now, I simply don’t know what to think, other than “What the hell?”
But the real problem here is the twilight movie, don’t see it unless you have the Rifftrax, it’s a terrible, terrible movie. Aaaauugh.
So here’s the skinny, it’s been raing in Savannah non-stop since last week, and they haven’t been able to switch out a certain part in the new A/C Unit they installed in our apartment before we moved in. Since they haven’t been able to there’s been holes in the room, covered by a simple tarp.
Sooo, anytime it rains super heavily, that little space in the ceiling from 2 days ago has since spread out, and has pretty much made rain the bane of my existence. I fear rain, like I fear my own death.
It never stops. Never.
There’s alot of stray cats wandering around the Apartment Complex, and it always vexes we to see some without tails, I mean, they couldn’t have been bitten off could they?
And it’s not like it’s some sort of weird Disney flick set in old timey england where the cats are being chased down by a disgruntled butcher, mad that they ran off with some sausage links… WHOS CUTTIN’ THE TAILS DAMMIT?!!
