If you’ve ever worked in a bookstore, or even been to a bookstore, looking for comics, you know the foul stench of these jerks.
Now, I can understand if you’re just stopping by, and you look through a book, and all that. But I’ve had people that sit in the section, longer than my shifts with a pile of read material sitting next to them, that they will never buy, because they’re cheap and think our store is a fucking library.
I got to thinking, who are these people? Who has 6+ hours to waste hanging out in a bookstore? They seemed to be a little older than high schoolers, so either they’re just 20 year old vagrants, or just some greedy little turds from SCAD, who had a free afternoon.
Now, I’d barely even care if they just took their books up to the cafe and read them, which is what everyone else fucking does anyway, but the sheer fact that they sit in front of the bookshelves and block the already narrow walk ways infuriates me.
What’s even worse is when they bust out laptops, or start listening to music. Hell, sometimes they bring in food where they’ve been sitting and kick off their shoes! Fuck, might as well bring a pillow too, don’t wanna be uncomfortable now.
So, do you buddy Brett a solid, and if you ever see these fuckos sitting in the comics section, give ‘em a good boot in the ass and tell ‘em to get a life.
