The Daily Odyssey

Alright, so I’m normally not up this early to even listen to it, but morning drive talk radio is the most acidic thing to listen to. Such phoney attitudes, shitty jokes and just pretty much a big case of trying to damn hard.

And since I’m a long time fan of Howard Stern, it really, really hurts. Yes I know, its low-brow humor, theres alot of poop jokes and goofy bits, but it’s the human drama and off the cuff improvisations that draw me in. I mean who couldn’t be interested in that lovable heroin addict Artie Lang? Or the continuing marital problems of Sal the Stockbroker? Compare to the Stern Show, every other radio show just sounds completely rehearsed and tired.

Wow, I’m just preaching to like… .001% of my audience, sorry about that!

But seriously that’ll teach me to charge my iPOD before heading off to work..
