Infact, I’m sure if you haven’t watched the Black Hole you probably won’t get today’s strip. It’s amazing how you can write off a movie until it’s just popped into the player, and wow, what a surprise this movie turned out to be, I simply didn’t expect it to be as good as it was! And for a Disney movie, it was hella dark! And an ending that rivals 2001: A Space Odyssey in craziness.
The robots were hands down the stars of the film, Vincent and Bob the duo that could give WALL-E a run for his money in a fight, right down to the evil cold and ruthless MAX, who’s much more cooler looking than his name would let on.
Also, this coloring was done on a whim at 4AM, so that was fun to do!
HAH. I just flipped on that song as a whim, then remembered you had said something about this comic. Dude, the music only adds. This is some fantastic coloring, by the way!
Dude, Black Hole is one of those movies from my youth that actually was as good as I remembered it… except for the haircuts. I actually have a Maximilian figure on my desk…
