It was actually my first time watching the movie too. After years of only knowing the movie through references on Animaniacs, it was pretty damned good. Though I’ve sure I’d enjoy it movie on DVD.

Sometimes theres some wonderful treasures in the graphic novel section, if you can afford them.
Also this was based off the assignment sheet we write up to see who gets what quardrent of the store. Blah blah blah.
I’ve been trying to save as much as I can lately, so when I found out I could get a second lunch for half off. I was pretty happy! But then learned it could have been cheaper by flashing my alumni card, so I got a little tiffed.
Yep, big things happend today. Biiig things.
Alright, I know when I used to be a SCAD kid, we’d have our critiques and we’d go on wacky tangents and goof around all that, but this class, wow, taken to a fantastic extreme. They couldn’t leave any joke left unsaid, and everyone was just trying to one-up eachother.
I mean really, when was the last time an “I’m the Goddamned Batman” joke was funny?
By the way: Alex Bullett is a talented chap! And friend Martyn Cooper on facebook so you can see his daily comics!
My day was so boring, I drew the videogame I played at work. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for the PSP represent!
Yeah, yeah, I know, there’s better comics at Marvel/DC to choose from and all that, but reading this book, Ultimate Power summed up pretty all the reasons why I dislike most mainstream comics. Incoprehensible plot, tired wooden characters that you’d need ten back issues understand their current predicament, and shitty, shitty art.
Greg Land just astounds me, I remember going back to Ultimate Fantastic 4 issues 7-12 , when they were written by Warren Ellis and draw by Stuart Immonen, and I was in LOVE with the books fresh take on the characters… then they ditch that marvel dream team, and bring in whoever and Greg Land. I wept for days. Such a great book struck down so early in its prime…
Greg Land, with art so stale, so uninteresting in layout and design, that my eyes will slide right off the page, as if it were coated in teflon!
Why do I hate this artist so much? Could it be that he’s a terrible fucking tracer? Going so far as to trace porn stars?
This is probably one of the few times you’ll ever see me bitch about comics like this.. but damn. It needed to be said!
It was just a jam packed day of adventure and FRIENDSHIP!!
Condolences to Kara who doesnt have much left to her job, since the Waldensbooks is closed now. Boo on Bookstores closing. But hurray for her rocking an awesome fedora!!
…And yes, that’s Flapjack in the second panel on the TV.
But yeah, I want out of my place if I can find something a little more my price range… um, anybody in Savannah looking for a nice place for like… 400$ a month? Eh?
Hooray for SkyDoll!
Buy it today! That’s All I Need to Say!
Once again, SEQALAB was successful, then we ate pizza. Also, I’d like to plug a few JAWESOME friends doing their journal comic things!
My Good Friend Kara, trying out dailies of her own in her OWLDROPPINGS! They’re pretty entertaining insights on her life, and oh-so adorable!
Friend Josh (Routt) is taking a wack at hourlies when he can. Hourlies are pretty challenging, dailies are enough, but attempting them every hour is just crazy! The only problem is he doesnt get to scanning and post them enough. Encourage him to do more!
Yadda, yadda, the end.
I just love it when the heavens part and send me a divine gift, or in the case, a bowl of Chick Fil’A Soup!
To clarify, the other bowl wasn’t opened. So I didn’t contract aids or anything from my free lunch.
