It would have been nice to get a real tree this year, but we really couldnt have afforded something like that. Besides, the lights came with the tree! (And a few ornaments the guy forgot to take off of it.)
Also, big thanks to Marion & Brannon for splitting the tree cost with us. It’s gonna be a nice Xmas after all!

Nothing major, out of the ordinary or even terribly interesting happend today. But oddly pleasent. I like these days

I picked up this new book today, since I’ve heard alot abotu it from a fellow co-worker (and the 40% discount helped alot too!). It’s called House of Leaves, a very odd book for very odd people. Basically we follow a man slowly being driven insane by a book that was written by a dead man about a movie that doesnt exist.
Now, here’s a little tibit about me. I scare very easily, like, when I watch something like The Ring or The Exorcist or something, I can’t sleep without some sort of ligthtsource for a week.
But this book… christ, I’m afraid to walk near a darkened hallway, it plays with your head.
So guy out and buy it!
I have to say, if you cool cats haven’t listened too SEQALAB yet, then you haven’t really lived!
Also, having the Podcast at Kevin and Jarrets was a total blast and kinda felt more homey, it was really laid back, though maybe too laid back, since our second taping ran way too long and had to be cut in half. I wanna thank everyone there for letting me join in!

My roomate Greg has a terrible habit of believing perishable food items can last for eons. Those that fuzzy ham seemed to prove him wrong. He’s actually away for the months, so sadly, he’s going to be missing a few food items when he returns.
Frankly Im pretty sure he wont notice, its like he barely touches that stuff after he buys it.
I feel terribly guilty about letting people buy stuff for me, but lately money’s been so tight that I’ll take any handout I can get. So I’ll have to thank Marion for covering my lunch, and then cooking dinner! (Oh, and Brannon too I guess).
I have super cool friends in Savannah. I’m not sure if I should leave or not in the spring…
Okay, so I found this comic through project wonderful, and saw it got tons of views a day, into the thousands. But then I saw the website, atrocious layout, eye-scalding color scheme and art the looked like it was done in MS Paint, and still was making a killing through donations and super hokey merchandise. In my rage, I blamed it on its furry art, and its supposed following.
Now, I know there can be some okay furries out there, but seriously, theres alot of shit art out there that they just seem to eat up. Just because some character has ears and a tail is no reason to like something.
Blech, I’m just pissy cause I haven’t sold this comic enough and it hasn’t caught much word of mouth. I know I’m not the best out there, but it’s infuriating to see some comics with such low quality have such a high following.
But believe me, I have no intention of pandering in my comic….. this badly………just yet.
I’m only more than a little jealous of myself from a year ago. Getting to visit the exotic locales of Tokyo, but only squandering a good bit of that time on buying videogame paraphenalia, where I could have been taking in the true culture.
But I digress. I’d probably buy more stupid crap this year anyhow.
Still though, it’d be better than sitting on my ass in Georgia. Frankly, anything would at this point.
