Okay, so I found this comic through project wonderful, and saw it got tons of views a day, into the thousands. But then I saw the website, atrocious layout, eye-scalding color scheme and art the looked like it was done in MS Paint, and still was making a killing through donations and super hokey merchandise. In my rage, I blamed it on its furry art, and its supposed following.
Now, I know there can be some okay furries out there, but seriously, theres alot of shit art out there that they just seem to eat up. Just because some character has ears and a tail is no reason to like something.
Blech, I’m just pissy cause I haven’t sold this comic enough and it hasn’t caught much word of mouth. I know I’m not the best out there, but it’s infuriating to see some comics with such low quality have such a high following.
But believe me, I have no intention of pandering in my comic….. this badly………just yet.
You know, you could probably tack that last panel on a T-shirt and somehow charge a ridiculous amount of money for it. Heheh. Actually, that middle panel would work too.
I seriously like this comic though. I may be a lurker, but I’m a regular reader. I think I mentioned it before, but I really like the colors you’ve been using lately.
I’ve thought about this too, making some shit comic that pandered to a group like furries and make the quick bucks, but I could just never bring myself to do it. Gotta be true to myself. And you gotta remain true to yourself as well! And never give in as tempting as that…giant…pile…of…money…is…um…money…um…

Oh, and totally take Meg’s advice and put that last panel on a t-shirt and charge furries 50 bucks for it. Those suckers will buy ANYTHING!

Also Brett, your stuff is getting better and better. Your use of color is making your comic really stand out. It’s like Kellet and Kurtz said, if there is quality there then an audience will come and I’m sure that one will find your comic. It’s probably just going to take awhile.
Seriously, there are so many great comics out there but sadly no one seems to take the time to actually read them. Loving your comic so far so keep it up. Heh… Boobsylvania I know where I’m going for my next vacation
Ya there are alot of crap furry comics out there and then there are really good ones like twokinds. You are right the biggest reason furry webcomics tend to do well is because it’s aim’d at us furrys. The other reason is that we are a pretty tightly-spun community due to the fact that we are the internets puching-bag. Anyways i’m ranting.
I read a lot of comics this one is really good i look forward to reading it more.
